According to Bloomberg Business reporter Mark Gurman, “people with knowledge of the matter” say the iPhone 14 and possibly a new Apple Watch Series 8 will be unveiled, as is the historical norm for the company’s first of two September events.
As the rumors surrounding the iPhone 14 and the planned September 7th launch at Apple’s September event continue to mount, the plethora of leaks and tips have already pointed to a pretty clear picture of the device to expect from the iPhone 14 range.
The standard iPhone 14 is expected to be quite similar to the iPhone 13, but will most likely get some upgraded features and specs. It is scheduled to launch alongside a larger 6.7-inch iPhone Max/Plus.
The iPhone 14 pro models are also predicted to offer a bigger redesign, with Apple finally ditching the infamous display notch and replacing it with a pill-shaped, hole-punch dual display cutout.

Also on the cards is an even better 48MP camera and a new A16 Bionic chip for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, along with a possible always-on display. We’ll keep you posted on the latest as we get closer to the September 7th date.
The September 7 release date aligns with the typical sales opening schedule a week and a half after product launch. Well, sales of the rumored iPhone 14 are rumored to start on September 16.
As it has done during the pandemic, the company is reportedly streaming the launch event online rather than in person.
The iPhone 14 is also rumored to come with a $100 price increase. There were no price changes between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, but the new model comes as Apple’s supply chain has seen cost increases.
New iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches are also expected to launch this fall.
